Yes. Ships with Android 14 GMS — full Google Play Store, Google Maps, Firebase support. This matters for apps that depend on Google services for push notifications, maps, or auth.

How does this compare to the SZO-TAB-10E?

Different category. The 10E is Windows-capable, has industrial I/O (RS-232, aviation plug), removable battery, and costs roughly 2× more. The 10S is consumer-grade Android, cheaper, slimmer, and right for retail/consumer applications. Choose 10E for industrial; 10S for consumer-facing.

What's the actual durability rating?

IP54 dust/splash resistance and 1.2m drop survival on most surfaces. Not IP65 (full waterproof). For full-immersion deployments (food prep, oil & gas) we offer a custom IP65 variant for 200+ unit orders.

Can I get a custom Android ROM?

For orders of 200+ unidades, yes — we provide custom Android OS images with: your branding (boot logo, wallpaper, system theme), pre-installed apps, kiosk mode lockdown, MDM integration (e.g. SOTI, VMware Workspace ONE), Google services disabled if desired.

Is the screen daylight-readable?

500 cd/m² is fine for indoor and shaded outdoor use. For full direct sunlight (parking enforcement, outdoor inspection), consider the SZO-TAB-10E with 800 cd/m² high-brightness option.
