Will it fit my interactive flat panel?
Yes, if your panel has a standard OPS slot. This module uses the 80-pin JAE TX25 connector defined by Intel's Open Pluggable Specification — the same slot used by Hisense, Newline, Promethean, ViewSonic, Samsung (PIM-S), Sharp/NEC, BenQ, Seewo, and Maxhub. If your display has an "OPS slot," it slides in. Not sure? Send Vincent the model number on WhatsApp and we'll confirm within hours.
Does the i7-13G need supplementary power beyond the OPS slot?
The 13650HX has a 55W base / 157W turbo TDP. The standard OPS slot supplies up to ~120W. For sustained turbo operation, an optional supplementary DC jack on the rear allows host-supplemented power. For most signage workloads at sub-100W average, the OPS slot alone is sufficient.
Can this drive an 8K display?
Yes — the integrated graphics support 8K@60Hz output via DisplayPort 1.4 (with DSC) or HDMI 2.1. Real-world content playback at 8K is limited by source decode capability (most signage content is 4K maximum); 8K is most useful for high-resolution dashboard or visualization use cases.
How does the WiFi 6E radio compare to 6?
WiFi 6E adds the 6 GHz band (5925–7125 MHz), which is far less congested than 2.4/5 GHz in dense environments. In typical commercial deployments, expect 30–50% higher real-world throughput and lower latency compared to WiFi 6. Requires a 6E-capable access point to benefit fully.
What's the warranty for high-load 24/7 operation?
Standard 2-year warranty assumes typical commercial operation (≤12 h/day average). For 24/7 deployments (e.g., transport signage), we recommend upgrading to the SZO-OPSC42-i7 with extra thermal headroom — or contact us for an extended-warranty quotation.
Can I customize the I/O configuration?
For 200+ unit orders, yes — we can spec additional USB ports, dual Ethernet, or fiber Ethernet via the JAE connector breakout. This is a Tier 3 ODM customization; lead time +4–6 weeks for the first batch.
